In light of the beautiful spring weather, I have decided to start a cleaning challenge. I wanted to create a challenge that was easy but efficient, and one that would work for both busy moms & stepmoms!

What better way to create a home and life you love then to create a CLEAN and NICE looking home that functions accordingly?

5 days to a cleaner home

While having 3 children (under the age of 9) defiantly makes this harder to do, it is never impossible! Each of the kids have their own chores to do as well.

I do want to note that this is NOT going to be a way to DEEP clean your home, but a way to keep it tidy at all times. Especially, for those surprise guests that pop up with no call or warning. (I hate those!)

After completing this 5 Day Cleaning Challenge, you can feel confident no matter who shows up at your door that your home won’t look like the horrific tornado aftermath that it has before! I am talking about my own home too by the way!

Please feel free to change up the ways you do the actual cleaning to anyway that suits your style. Just remember this is meant to be a quick fix for keeping your home nice and tidy.

I plan on doing a deep cleaning challenge later on and add it here for your convenience.

The 5 Days to a Cleaner Home Challenge for Busy Moms & Stepmoms!

Pre-challenge:

Before we dive into the challenge, lets go over the items you’ll need to begin. Again, please remember the products and items I mention are just suggestions, use any products that suit your taste!

In general, I like to have a cleaning tray for each room with room specific items. That way when I am in that area, I don’t have to run back and forth for each needed item, which ultimately waste a lot of time.

You can easily create one with any given basket, tray, plastic container and so on. I prefer to use this one, you can purchase this particular tray at Walmart(Shop cleaning supplies for less at Walmart.com ) or even better the Dollar Tree(Shop For Cleaning Supplies, Storage and Hardware Products Today At The Lowest Prices!). The only items that have to be fetched each time are the broom and dustpan, vacuum, and mop.
